Why is there no discount for long term supply?
If Teachers are asked to commit to long term regular bookings say for 6 weeks or more, usually there is extra responsibility on the teacher to plan and to be more involved in the school community. This requires more time and commitment to the role which is more equal to the teachers employed directly by the school. Therefore the Pay and Charge have to be adjusted.
How much if we want to take a long term teacher?
For long term teachers we agree a daily Pay Rate with a teacher based upon their experience and try to pay them as close to their scale point as we can.
How much if we want to transfer a teacher?
When teachers go on to contracts directly with schools there is a Fee to be paid. This Fee reduces with the length of time the teacher has been at your school if they have been on a long term supply contract. Please ring for details.
How can I get hold of you in an emergency?
You can call our number 24hrs a day, if somebody is available we will answer, if not leave a message and will ring you back urgently.
What time are you open?
Phones will be manned from 7.00 to help with emergency cover and our consultant will be in the office until 5.00pm.
School Referrals
If you refer a School to Green Teachers once we have successfully placed 25 days of supply cover at that school or we have made a permanent placement we will provide your school with a £150 voucher which you can redeem for Equipment, Resources or your own future Supply Bookings!
