Supply Teachers

I was a class teacher in a London school and I fell out of love with the job I had trained long and hard for. I left my school without a job to go to and was not sure what I wanted to do. I still needed to be earning money to survive so I registered with an agency and became a supply teacher.

It was the best thing I could have done!

I went to dozens of different schools and worked with year groups I would never have considered before. I had the flexibility to work where and when I wanted. I managed to find a better Work/Home Life balance and I learnt a lot about my own teaching and how schools approach the same problems in many different ways. It made me realise that I had not fallen out of love with teaching just the school where I was.
