Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

I have been contacted by a school in the South of Buckinghamshire who are hoping to find a suitably qualified and experienced teacher to cover a Year 6 Class from April 2025 right through until the end of the Academic Year. They have received an unexpected resignation as one of their teachers is relocating to a new area.

The majority of the class are working well above expectation and will need pushing. Behaviour in the school is good.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Committed to setting and achieving high expectations of all pupils
• Willing to take part in extra-curricular activities and events in the wider community.
• Experienced in both the planning and delivering of engaging schemes of work that ensure pupils make good progression in their learning.
• Able to integrate well into our existing staff team
• Able to create an inspiring and exciting classroom that is inducive to good learning

The school may decide to make this a permanent position for September 2025 if the summer term goes well.
